Disabling the Windows Firewall

To disable the Windows Firewall:

1. Open All Programs > Administrative Tools > Windows Firewall with Advanced Security.

2. In the Actions section on the right, select Properties, as shown in the following illustration.

3. Set the Firewall state to Off in at least the Domain and the Private Profile tabs.

If your site allows it, also set the state to Off in the Public Profile tab.
